We are getting ready to take Jake and his friend Andrew to camp. They are doing iD Tech Camps’ Film Academy, which is at McGill University in Montreal. I can’t tell you how I’d like to stay and do the camp with them… The drive should take between seven and eight hours depending on traffic and stops along the way. Eliz, of course, is driving the entire 450+ miles. Yet one more thing that I cannot help her do (and as you can tell, it bothers me.) I think we are all looking forward to the trip.
I am a bit sore this morning. My right wrist has been bothering me the last day or two. I’ve had a few days of walking into things on my right side; door jams, shelving at the store (www.ForMySalon.com,) and a variety of other things. It is very frustrating. In general, it has been a bad week of seeing — or not seeing, I guess. My left eye (the one that matters) has been watering more than usual and I’ve had a slight pain off and on the last few days. If it continues, I’ll have it checked once we get back on Tuesday.
By the way, the title of this post is a quote from one of my favorite movies, The Princess Bride.
