2020 Plans, Goals, Guests, New Podcast Projects, And Travel Ideas
As we start another year, I lay out my goals and plans for the next 12 months. Some are business-related, like increase affiliate marketing revenue to support the purchase of medical insurance for my wife and I, and our two adult kids. Additional increases would be helpful if we are going to relocate to a warmer climate in the coming years. We will have to replace Eliz’s salary and I believe that affiliate marketing can be the best source.
Another goal is to begin the search for where we would like to relocate to. Since my mom died last month, we are not tied to our current location in suburban Philadelphia. We still have family here, but they do not require the attention that my mom needed. We are hoping to find someplace that is warm, has beaches, and is not super expensive (unless I can really grow the affiliate marketing…) Besides looking within the US, we are not against looking in the Caribbean, Spain, France, Australia, New Zealand, or other international locations that fit the bill. Finding something internationally may require a subscription to International Living, a newsletter that I use to get before we had kids and I had dreams of living abroad.
I’d also like to start another podcast project. At this point, I have a few ideas that range from food, alternative rock, and travel. The food and travel ideas would have a blindness slant, while the alt rock idea wouldn’t. I am weighing each idea, as well as how to monetize them. The food-related idea would also probably include Eliz, which I would really love to do.
Then there is video content creation. I’ve wanted to do more of this for the past year or so. I have a pair of iVue Rincon glasses that I have tried to capture content on over the last year but have had very little success. It may have been from a bad pair of glasses, though. The company has replaced them and I am ready to try again.
Wanna help me build my affiliate marketing? Check out some of these items. Each link is an affiliate offer, so if you make a purchase, I receive a commission. For any links leading to products at Amazon, if you click one of the links, but purchase a different product at Amazon, I still earn a commission! How cool is that?
This is what I use for the podcast: Sennheiser USB PC 8 Headset
This is a coffee pot similar to what my mom used before switching to K-Cups: Presto Coffee Maker
If we were allowed to grill in our condo, we would have something like this: Weber Gas Grill
